- 27.304(10) DRONE USE PROHIBITED. It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to fly or operate a drone as defined in Wis. Stat. 175.55(1)(a), within 500 feet of a public event during the scheduled time of the event. This subsection shall not apply to authorized law enforcement agencies or operators having obtained approval from the Federal Aviation Administration. The ordinance took effect in 2015.
